Three Indian universities shine at QS rankings

Published annually, the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings provides an overview of the 200 top universities in the world. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay is the latest edition, joining IIT-Delhi and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, in this group. With this, India, for the first time, has three of the top 200 universities in the world. IIT-Bombay is ranked at 179, IIT-Delhi at 172 and IISc at 190.

In the overall rankings, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) continues its run as the world’s best university for the sixth consecutive year. Stanford University and Harvard University follow as the world’s second and third best institutions.
