Mobile app to monitor schools in Bhubaneswar
The government of Bhubaneswar has launched a mobile app for monitoring the schools in the state.
The app will be used to check and upload information such as teachers’ absenteeism, attendance, infrastructure, pedagogy, midday meal and other provisions. The app is developed by National Informatics Centre, Bhubaneswar. BS Poonia, Project Director of Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority, said the main objective of app is to go digital and paperless and get real-time data on the functioning of the schools. The app will also help to ensure proper implementation of remedial programmes such as Ujjwal, Utthan and Utkarsh. All district education officers, block education officers, block resource centre coordinators and cluster resource coordinators can download the app on their smart phones.
