French foreign minister plans to double students from India by 2020


An added opportunity for Indian students longing to study in France is that French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has announced a plan to pull more Indian students to the country, aiming to at least double the current number by 2020. The academic plan is part of an effort building a stronger tie between the two countries. In addition, Jean-Marc also announced a new Bengaluru chapter of the France Alumni, a digital platform that serves to connect international students who have completed academic programmes at French universities.
