CBSE to discontinue answer sheet re-evaluation
From 2017 onward, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) will discontinue the provision of re-evaluation of answer sheets. However, according to an official source from the board, some system will still be in place when it comes to redressing genuine cases. The board has so far done re-evaluation of around 10 subjects since 2014 with 1.8 percent students applied for that, and those who got benefited from it was even less. Keeping this reality in mind, CBSE has decided to scrap the re- evaluation system. In addition, the board is planning to hold online examinations for Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET).
