CBSE gets new chairman
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has appointed Rakesh Kumar Chaturvedi as its new chairman. A 1987-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Rajesh Kumar will hold the post for the period of next five years. He was appointment by the ACC (Appointment Committee of the Cabinet) headed by PM Narendra Modi. The post for the central education board had been lying vacant since December 2014.
