CBSE conducts Webinar Series on implementation of NEP 2020

The National Educational Policy, launched in 2020, is a landmark document for the educational community all over India.

As a result, the best academic minds across the nation are ceaselessly brainstorming to understand, absorb and implement it in principle and in practice.Continuing in the same pursuit the Central Board of Secondary Education has started a series of Webinars for its Principals, Teachers and Parents in different phases to enlighten and prepare them for the great shift that is going to be enforced in due course of time.

In the first phase, CBSE had been training the principals across the nations through webinars conducted by the different COEs. In the second phase, webinars were conducted by CBSE HQ through the COEs throughout the nation which was transmitted through YouTube Live Streaming to provide training to all teachers under the jurisdiction of that particular COE. In the third phase, the Principals who have already undergone training will be conducting orientation webinars for the Parents in their respective schools.

Very recently, on 4th of February 2021, CBSE HQ through COE, Bhubaneswar conducted webinar for the teachers in their zone through YouTube Live Streaming. Renowned CBSE Resource Person and CBSE Awardee, Dr. Sankar Prasad Dutta, Principal of Krishnagar Public School in Nadia, West Bengal conducted the hour-long webinar where he briefed teachers all across the states of West Bengal, Odisha and Chhattisgarh that come under COE Bhubaneswar on the different aspects of the Policy and shared his conjecture on the key points to keep in mind during its implementation. Almost 3000 teachers from the region joined the Live Streaming and many more watched the webinar post-live taking the video ( https://youtu.be/9MWnpMC8g1s ) to more than 16,500 views. In order to ensure the take away from the Webinar CBSE HQ through COE Bhubaneswar conducted an online quiz on NEP 2020 the same day to make the webinar effective and enriching. Teachers who took the quiz after experiencing the webinar and will soon be receiving certificates from CBSE for participating in the NEP 2020 Webinar Series.
