Bihar school board suspends affiliation of 56 schools


Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to suspend the affiliation of 56 schools across the state for not complying with the prescribed norms and criteria. A source from the board also mentions that the affiliation of nine schools/colleges, which are in-principle given affiliation but not issued affiliation letters. As per an enquiry report, those schools the board has decided to suspend their affiliations did not maintain the standards and norms set by the board for running the institutions. It has been said that the schools under the scanner are those that have been granted affiliation in the past two years.
